Amanda of Milt’s Coffee Shop and the Cornmeal-Almond Cake with Fresh Strawberries. This delicious dessert is featured the month of April at Milt’s in Bakersfield, CA. Open 6:00am to 10:30pm, 7 days a week. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to locals and tourists who find this great coffee shop and family restaurant, located next to Hwy 99 and at the same location for almost 48 years, family owned and operated by Milt Huggs and his son Mark. The restaurant business runs deep in the blood of these Bakersfield restaurateurs , with Mark being the owner of the sister restaurant the 24th Street Cafe, same great food, but a different location, 24th is in downtown Bakersfield.
